Angela lives in Canton, Georgia with her daughter, Sierra Reece, a rising Junior at The Kings Academy in Woodstock, and her husband, Chad Mayhue.

Angela graduated from Sequoyah High School in 1998 and earned a business degree from Reinhardt University. Following graduation, she moved from a part-time position to a full-time partner in the family business established in 1961.

As the General Manager at Mauldin Body Shop & Towing and as the Official Agent with the Georgia Secretary of State for the Company she adheres to the many challenges of operating the business. She now operates from two locations in Canton and Woodstock in Cherokee County.

Angela is no stranger to first responders and the need for professional communications as provided by Cherokee County E 9-1-1. As a recovery operator, Angela is the highest certified female trained by WreckMaster in the world, as a Level 8/9 Rotator, Haz Mat, and Air cushion operator. WreckMaster no longer offers their Hazmat training, so the record is not likely to be broken. She was the first female Top 10 WreckMaster in 2010.

She has been a member of the Georgia Time Task Force as Program Committee Chairman, Operations Committee, Training Committee, and an instructor for TRIP the Towing & Recovery Incentive Program for Quick Clearance established by the Georgia Department of Transportation.

Angela is certified as an instructor for SHRP 2 Incident Management First Responder Safety Awareness. She was also active with Safe Kids of Cherokee County. For more than 25 years she provided vehicles, time, labor, transportation, funding, and full support for the Ghost Out program in Cherokee County.

In 2015, Angela was invited to participate in Leadership Cherokee, sponsored by the County Chamber of Commerce. In 2016 she was named by the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce as a “Top 10 in 10” Young Professionals to watch in their chosen careers as they create the future leadership of our community.

Angela led the efforts as Mauldin Body Shop & Towing was rewarded in 2024 as the Cherokee Tribune & Ledger News recipient as Best of Auto Body and Repair shop in Cherokee County. The business was also named Business Partner of the Year for Cherokee County by the Rotary Club.

Her other activities included serving as chairman and committee member of the Cherokee County Historical Society's annual Derby Days Fund Raising. An active committee member for years with the Georgia English Bulldog Rescue “Bully Ball” to raise awareness and financial support to save these valued animals in our State. She has raised English bulldogs and rescued them from pounds and vets who were looking for assistance in locating good homes for abused and neglected English Bulldogs.
